I like this question because it brings up something to think about. Becoming a better writer can also help you become a better thinker and speaker. Those traits will help a lot in any career.

    3. I remember writing about this in my 1301 class, what is your career? How will writing affect the way you go on everyday tasks in your career? Make sure to elaborate that into your question.

This question caught my attention because of how writing is beneficial on the job. In my personal experience writing does help you in any kind of job for example: I am recently employed as a dispatcher for Time Warner Cable and one of my duties is to type out different kinds of issues customers are having with there equipment and explain myself correctly because any little misunderstanding can create an issue ...

    1. This is a good question, I am curious to know the answer being a runner myself with a knee injury. I am doing repeated self therapy that I have had in the past. I know a athletic trainer that told me that the high school received a new compression device, but I do not know if it has helped or improved athletes.

I like this question because the whole world has problems sleeping at a certain time and taking that into consideration of their health. One of the most interesting topics to write about ! there is also a question you might consider asking, "Why does the human body get tired making you want to sleep?"

Why don't doctors prescribe natural remedies to their patients?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Judith Cavazos

This raises a really interesting question that I personally think points in the direction of corruption in the medical field. A perspective to consider is if natural remedies were taken advantage of, many drug companies would go out of business. It might not concern the fact that these natural remedies do not work, I'm sure there's tons of research proving otherwise. It could be more so about the fact that physicians would lose money in the process.

I really like this question because it addresses the question if doctors are only in for the money and are really working for pharmaceutical companies instead of being concerned for the patient. Another way of asking this is by asking "Are doctors working for pharmaceutical companies instead of working for the patient?"

      Delete
    3. Jasmin Alejandre

I like this question because it would be better if there were natural remedies to cure patients since they are better for our health. Doctors should consider it and it would also be cheaper for patients. "Should doctors consider prescribing patients with natural remedies to better their health and save money?"

This is a genuinely interesting question that I never thought to question! Where is the line drawn from personal opinion and what the people would like to read? Very cool topic, I can imagine it could be related to the people you know. Social standings probably have a ton to do with the possibility of getting a book published. I'm sure there's a lot of unknown talented writers who just do not have the connections to get their books published. When socialite's such as Lauren Conrad are getting their grammatically incorrect novels thrown on the shelves with no questions asked, because she has such an intense following.

i like this question because you can tie it into some of the articles that we have in class. The things these authors are saying are seen as facts but they are most likely manipulated opinions. So that could be involved in your question. I really like how you stated your question. Maybe make a specific issue that you've experienced slipping through the publishing companies.

Something is easier to learn when it is fun. Playing a historically accurate video game prior to taking a history class also gives the student the ability to enter the class better informed.
